David Hemed

President & Founder
Diamond General Contracting

David Hemed is the President and Founder of Diamond General Contracting, a regional construction and development firm serving clients across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. He leads the company with a focus on efficiency, rapid delivery, and value-driven construction solutions.

David’s background includes six years in the United States Navy’s Nuclear Power Program, where he gained advanced training in mechanical, electrical, and systems operations. This experience instilled a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to execution, where precision and accountability are essential. Combined with hands-on experience in skilled trades, he brings a well-rounded understanding of both design and construction.

He holds multiple Florida State Certified Class A licenses, including General Contracting, HVAC, Plumbing, and Roofing, along with multi-state licensure qualifications that support the company’s regional reach.

Guided by a “failure is not an option” mindset, David leads with a commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while building strong client relationships and long-term value.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife, Dalia, and their three sons, along with fishing, gardening, and traveling.
